Upper Eyelid Lift (Upper Eyelid Blepharoplasty), a leading facial plastic surgery. This procedure expertly addresses the contours of the upper eyelid space and removes excess skin & fatty tissue from the upper eyelids.
Renewed confidence with Eyelid Lift surgery. It targets the area between the eyebrow and eyelashes.
While ageing is a natural process, blepharoplasty results can be long-lasting, often improving the appearance of the upper eyelids for a decade or more.
Compared to traditional surgeries, upper eyelid blepharoplasty can be performed using minimally invasive techniques, reducing recovery time and discomfort.
Blepharoplasty can be safely performed on most healthy individuals with minimal risk of complications. But, a consultation with a qualified surgeon is crucial.
As we get older the upper eyelids tend to look heavier and more hooded due to the brow becoming lower but also the excess skin that forms as part of the ageing process.
An upper eyelid lift or blepharoplasty is a simple surgical procedure for both men and women in their mid thirties upwards.
It helps to improve the eye area by removing any excess or hooding skin and in turn opens the eyes giving a more attractive, fresher look that is both younger and less tired in appearance.
Drooping Eyelids: Over time, the skin on your upper eyelids can start to sag, giving you a perpetually tired or aged appearance. Upper eyelid blepharoplasty can help correct this by removing the excess skin and tightening the remaining tissue.
Obstructed Vision: Excess skin on the upper eyelids can sometimes hang down far enough to impair your vision. This procedure can remove the obstruction, improving both your appearance and your ability to see clearly.
Improved Eye Appearance:
If you want to improve the area around your eyes, upper eyelid blepharoplasty can provide a more alert, refreshed, and youthful look by smoothing out the skin and reducing puffiness.

Upper Blepharoplasty, commonly known as upper eyelid lift surgery, is one of our most sought-after procedures.
Here is a detailed guide to help you understand the entire process from enquiry to procedure with Mr Jeeva.
Booking a Consultation: The first step is to schedule a consultation with Mr Jeeva, one of our experienced Consultant Plastic Surgeons.
Scheduling Surgery: Given the lead time for surgery, many patients book their surgery slots at the same time as their consultation.
Assessment: During your consultation, Mr Jeeva will thoroughly assess your eyelids and discuss the results you hope to achieve.
Suitability: Not everyone is suitable for the procedure. Mr Jeeva will provide an honest assessment.
Eligibility Rate: On average, 73% of our patients are suitable for the procedure. The remaining 27% are not, and we will not proceed if we believe the results won't meet your expectations.
Incisions: The incision lines follow the natural crease of the upper eyelid and extend slightly into the crow’s feet at the corner of the eyes.
Removal: Surplus fat, excess skin, and sagging muscle are removed through these incisions.
Scarring: Eyelid scars typically fade over time and are usually barely visible after several months.
Combined Procedures: If needed, a brow lift may be recommended along with the upper blepharoplasty to address drooping eyebrows.
Same-Day Discharge: Patients can go home on the same day as the surgery.
Recovery: Bruising lasts about a week. It’s advisable to return to work after bruising and swelling have subsided.
Sutures: Stitches are usually removed after 7 days, and makeup can be applied soon after.
Medication: Avoid aspirin and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs for at least two weeks before surgery to minimise bleeding risks.
All surgeries carry risks, including cosmetic procedures. There is a very small risk of complications, such as blindness in rare cases.
These risks, along with all aspects of the surgery and its costs, will be discussed during your consultation.
After your surgery, you’ll receive detailed aftercare instructions and will have a follow-up appointment about 7 days later to assess healing and remove sutures.
